ELORA DIGITAL is a two-founder software studio in Box Hill North, Melbourne. What you can check today

Running the business on spreadsheets, email and five apps that don't talk to each other?

We build the one system that replaces them: a web app your team can use on their phones, a customer portal, or a first version of your product. You agree the scope and the price before we start, then watch it come together in your client portal.

Sound familiar?

  • The same job is typed into a spreadsheet, an email and the accounting software.
  • Customers ring or email for updates that someone has to look up.
  • The month-end report is built by hand from three different exports.

How we work

How does a project run?

Five steps, and every one of them visible in your client portal: progress, files, messages, invoices and the scope in one place, whenever you want to look.

  1. Discovery

We agree the goals, the scope and the risks, and you get a written scope with a fixed price.

  2. Design

Wireframes and designs you approve before any build starts.

  3. Two-week sprints

We build in two-week sprints and you review a working version after each one.

  4. Launch

We release it, hand over the documentation and cover it with a 30-day warranty.

  5. Care plan

Hosting, backups, updates and change hours each month, if you want us to look after it.

  • Built by our co-founder: Reckonly

    Reckonly: receipts in, BAS out

An Australian web app for sole traders and micro-businesses. Receipt photos and PDFs go in, AI reads the vendor, total, GST and date, you confirm each one, and it lands in Xero, MYOB or Zoho Books as a draft.

  • Built by our co-founder: Scentena

Scentena: AI perfume formulas with the safety rules built in

An IFRA-aware formula generator for hobbyists, students and indie perfumers. A plain-English brief becomes a buildable formula, and the safety limits are enforced by code rather than left to the model.

Why ELORA DIGITAL

The third option between an agency and a freelancer

Most businesses choose between a large agency and a freelancer. We set the studio up to keep the best of each and drop the rest.

  • A large agency, usually

    • A sales team, then an account manager, then developers you may never meet.
    • Prices rarely published; a proposal takes weeks.
    • Overheads built into every hour.
  • A freelancer, usually

    • No written scope, warranty or cover when they are away or busy.
    • Hosting and accounts sometimes in their name, not yours.
  • ELORA DIGITAL

    • Published prices, an estimate range within one business day and a written scope with a fixed price before any build starts.
    • Two-week sprints you review in your client portal, accounts in your name, a 30-day warranty alongside your Australian Consumer Law guarantees, and a care plan after launch.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a web app cost?

Our web apps and MVPs cost $15,000 to $40,000 ex GST. Business websites are $4,000 to $8,000 and mobile apps $20,000 to $50,000. We reply to an enquiry with an estimate range within one business day. Projects over $10,000 start with a paid discovery workshop ($500 to $1,500), credited to the project if it goes ahead, which produces the written scope; websites under that get a written scope after a call. The price is fixed once you sign the scope.

How long does it take?

Business websites take 3 to 6 weeks, web apps 6 to 12 weeks, MVPs 8 to 12 weeks and mobile apps 10 to 16 weeks. We build in two-week sprints, and you review a working version after each one in your client portal. The timeline is written into the scope, so you know the launch window before we start.

Do you work outside Melbourne?

Yes. We are based in Box Hill North and take on projects from businesses across Melbourne, in person or by video call, and from anywhere in Australia. Discovery, sprint reviews and support all run through video calls and your client portal, so distance does not change how the project runs.

Who owns the code?

You do. The code and designs we create for you are yours once the final invoice is paid, and the hosting, domain and app store accounts are set up in your name from the start. You can hand the project to another developer or host it elsewhere whenever you like. The open-source frameworks we build on stay under their own licences.

What happens after launch?

Every launch comes with a 30-day warranty, so defects in what we built are fixed at no charge in the first month. The warranty sits alongside the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law and does not limit them. From the end of the warranty you can take a monthly care plan: hosting, SSL, backups, uptime monitoring, security updates, bug fixes and a set number of change hours, with a monthly report. Plans are $300, $700 or $1,500 a month for 2, 5 or 10 change hours, month to month after the first 3 months. Without a plan, change requests are $130 an hour with a 2-hour minimum.

Who actually builds my software?

Our co-founder Anis, a senior full-stack developer, from the first call to launch. There is no sales team and no hand-off to someone you have not met: you deal with the two founders who run the studio, and the person who scoped your project is the person who builds it.

What if we are not the right fit for each other?

We say so on the first call, and we say what would suit you better. We do not take projects under $4,000, run ongoing SEO or advertising campaigns, build fully native apps with heavy 3D, audio or video processing, or staff a team of ten; for those we point you to the right people.

Can I talk to someone before I commit to anything?

Yes. Ask for a 20-minute call in the quote form or the contact form and a founder will arrange one. It is free, there is no obligation, and there is no sales pitch: we ask about your project and tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
