Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to read this site and get in touch with us, whatever device or assistive technology they use. This page says what we do about that, where we know we fall short, and how to tell us when something does not work for you.

The standard we work to
We build this site to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the level the Australian Government and the Disability Discrimination Act guidance point to. We have not had an independent audit yet; the checks below are our own.
What we check on every page
Our automated test suite runs on every change to the site. It fails the build when a public page breaks any of these:
- No WCAG 2.2 AA violations reported by axe-core, in light mode and in dark mode.
- One heading structure per page: a single h1 and headings in order, with named landmarks for the header, navigation, main content and footer.
- A skip link to the main content as the first thing the keyboard reaches.
- Every control reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus ring.
- Form fields with visible labels, required fields marked in words, and errors announced and linked to the field they belong to.
- Text and interface colours that meet the AA contrast ratios in both colour schemes.
- Status never shown by colour alone: every status carries words and an icon.
- Animation that respects the reduced-motion setting of your device.
What we know we have not done yet
Automated checks catch a minority of accessibility problems. We have not yet had the site tested by people who rely on screen readers, switch access or magnification, and we have not commissioned an independent audit. Articles and case studies are written by hand, so a missing text alternative or an unclear link can slip through; tell us and we will fix it.

A founder replies within one business day, Monday to Friday. If you need the information on a page in another form, ask and we will send it.
